We decided to stay in the lovely Mansion Kyani during our summer vacations of august 2009, because Santorini can be very crowded that period, so a private villa in the traditional not-touristic village of Megalochori, sounded great…It was great indeed! The house is beautiful, wonderfully restored, in a great location, overlooking the village and vineyards (you can even see the ocean in the distance! We stayed in the enormous canava-style bedroom which had a really big bathroom attached with the biggest Bath Tub I have ever seen! Really atmospheric, perfect for honeymooners..We also loved the cobblestoned courtyard which had very confy outdoor furniture. The only thing we missed was a private pool but as I noticed in the flipkey photos of the property, they added one! More reason for us to go back next summer…
