My husband and I recently Honeymooned in Santorini and stayed at Mansion Kyani. From start to finish the service and costumer care was fantastic! The manager Takis, was extremely accommodating and made sure our stay was special.
We were also very impressed with Jackie our concierge who was always on hand with brilliant restaurant recommendations and local knowledge. The villa & the grounds were kept immaculately at all times by the staff.
We were thrilled with the location of the villa. Megalochori is absolutely beautiful and we loved eating in the local restaurants and sitting by the pool! We really liked the outdoor seating areas and furniture which we felt was of a high specification. We had hope there might have been a BBQ, and upon this feedback Takis assures us that this will be sorted out!
In terms of the villa, we loved the master bedroom and found our bed very comfortable. We also appreciated the complimentary robes and toiletries.
We felt the hot water supply in general wasn’t really plentiful enough- we do understand that water is scarce and that this is part of island life, but the large baths didn’t seem suitable given the shortage of water. We certainly wouldn’t have been able to fill the Jacuzzi; which was unfortunately broken. However this didn’t detract from an incredible holiday!
In general Santorini is a must see island and I would particularly recommend Megalochori which is in easy reach of all the major attractions (particularly with an excellent taxi service and car rental service) without being too touristy. The standard of food throughout the Island is sensational (especially the sea food). The people on the island are incredibly friendly and welcoming.
