We had an amazing time at Mansion Sophia and cannot wait to come back and stay again. The little village of Megalochori was picture perfect and exactly what we were looking for in an off-the-beaten-path, authentic experience. There were several great restaurants just a stone’s throw from the house and there was a great bakery just a short and scenic walk through the old village. Every person we met was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome immediately. The house itself was fantastic, it had the charm and history to lend to its authenticity, but was very comfortable with all the conveniences of modern amenities like a washing machine, microwave and espresso maker.
